Moneeb Chohan, D.O.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr. Moneeb Chohan is a board-certified psychiatrist in General Psychiatry who graduated from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his residency at Hackensack Meridian Health – Jersey Shore, and pursued specialized training through a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in New York. He is board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and speaks several languages, allowing him to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Chohan is a strong advocate for culturally sensitive, individualized, and evidence-based mental health care. He believes every person has a unique story and deserves compassionate, tailored treatment. He also emphasizes holistic wellness—healthy eating, exercise, and lifestyle changes—as key components of emotional well-being, while staying current with the latest research to guide his practice.
In his spare time, Dr. Chohan enjoys traveling, visiting museums, reading about history and different cultures, and trying new ethnic foods—always happy to discover a great dish or hidden local spot. His curiosity and love for learning continue to shape both his personal life and his approach to patient care.
