I’m an adult psychiatrist providing evidence-based, individualized care for adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, mood symptoms, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and holistic, taking into account not only your symptoms, but also your sleep, physical health, relationships, lifestyle, and personal goals.
I offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and thoughtful medication management, with therapy-informed support tailored to each patient’s needs. I draw from approaches including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, supportive therapy, ACT, and mindfulness to help patients better understand themselves, develop practical coping tools, and feel more like themselves again. I take a collaborative, individualized, and whole-person approach to care. From there, we work together to create an evidence-based treatment plan that may include medication, therapy-informed strategies, or a combination of both.
2. How do you integrate medication management?
I offer thoughtful, individualized medication management based on each patient’s symptoms, goals, medical history, and overall needs. Medication is considered as one part of a comprehensive treatment plan and may be combined with therapy-informed strategies and practical tools to support lasting improvement.
3. What types of concerns do you specialize in treating?
I work with adults and young adults, with a particular interest in:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and mood symptoms
Burnout and high-pressure lifestyles
Life transitions and adjustment
Perfectionism and difficulty managing expectations
Sleep and other day-to-day factors that can impact mental health
I also have experience working with concerns including trauma and PTSD, chronic illness adjustment, ADHD, autism, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and bereavement, self-esteem and confidence concerns, and mood swings.
4. What's something you want your patients to know about you?
I think building trust with your psychiatrist is one of the most important parts of the healing process. When you feel comfortable being open and honest with your psychiatrist, we can better understand what’s going on and create a treatment plan that truly fits you. I also believe that meaningful change comes from combining the right treatment with practical strategies that can be incorporated into your everyday life.
5. What do you believe is the most important part of the healing process?
I believe trust and a strong therapeutic relationship are foundational to the healing process. Meaningful change also comes from combining appropriate treatment with practical strategies that can be incorporated into everyday life.
6. What kinds of clients do you work with best?
I work well with adults and young adults who want thoughtful, evidence-based care and are interested in being an active participant in their treatment. I especially enjoy working with professionals and high achievers navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, perfectionism, or major life transitions, and who want to better understand themselves and feel more like themselves again.
7. Do you have experience with trauma or PTSD?
Yes. I have experience working with trauma and PTSD, including childhood trauma, and incorporate trauma-informed, individualized approaches into care.
8. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I love traveling and exploring new countries, spending time in national parks, trying new restaurants, and going to the beach. I also love spending time at home with my cat, who keeps me entertained when I’m not working!
