Christopher Nemes, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Nemes is a graduate of the University of Manchester School of Medicine, England. Following medical school, he undertook a two-year internal medicine residency in the UK. Dr. Nemes completed his Psychiatry residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He received his BSc in Medical Science and his MA in Psychology from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.
Dr. Nemes has advanced psychodynamic psychotherapy training from the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. In 2019, Dr. Nemes received an Excellence in Psychotherapy award from Albert Einstein Medical Center, and he presented at a national conference on the subject of teaching psychodynamic therapy to psychiatrists in training.
Dr. Nemes treats a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, psychosis and schizophrenia. He offers individual psychodynamic psychotherapy and or medication management.
