Nesha Niezrecki M.D.
Adult Psychiatrist
I am a board-certified general psychiatrist with a mental health concentration certification and a subspecialty focus in women’s mental health. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where patients feel heard and understood. My treatment philosophy emphasizes collaboration between patient and provider, utilizing both psychopharmacological interventions and therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's unique needs and circumstances. I completed my psychiatry residency training at the University of Utah and went on to work at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where I provided care in a women's mental health clinic.
I have particular expertise in reproductive and peripartum psychiatry, including the evaluation and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period. In addition to my focus on women’s mental health, I treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, OCD.
I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and welcome adult patients of all genders. My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and rooted in evidence-based practices, with a special interest in supporting individuals through life transitions, identity exploration, grief, and sleep difficulties.
Whether you are seeking care for the first time or looking for continued support, I strive to create a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.
