Many of my patients identify as 'workaholics,' using work as a way to avoid addressing deeper concerns in their lives. I help high functioning adults struggling with dissociation coping mechanisms and numbing behaviors such as substance use, binge eating, overworking, engaging in pornography, gambling, excessive exercise, and more.
