Reba K. Bindra, M.D., M.S.

Adult Psychiatrist

Dr. Bindra is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association (APA). She completed her residency training in general psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center in association with New York Medical College where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She has been involved in teaching and education for over 10 years and has had previous academic appointments with New York Medical College, UCLA and Loma Linda University. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at University of California Riverside. She has also held several leadership positions including Chief of Inpatient Psychiatry, Medical Student Clerkship Director and Chief of Professional Education.

Dr. Bindra has extensive experience in both psychopharmacology as well as different therapy modalities. She believes strongly that each person is unique in how symptoms affect their lives and thus, each person requires an individualized approach to healing and health maintenance. She believes in building therapeutic relationships based on mutual trust, empathy, respect and open communication.
