FAQs
1. What is your approach to working with patients?
I use a compassionate and holistic approach with patients, because feeling heard and understood by your psychiatrist is an essential part of treatment. I know it can feel daunting to meet with a psychiatrist, so I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable discussing even the most difficult topics. My goal is to build a trusting, collaborative relationship that supports your healing and growth.
2. How do you integrate medication management?
Medication management can be an important component of treatment, and it often works best alongside other approaches such as psychotherapy and lifestyle changes. I strive to understand the full picture of each person I work with so that any medications are used thoughtfully and in a way that supports their overall well-being.
3. What do you believe is the most important part of the healing process?
The most important part of the healing process is having trusted people to support you along the way. I believe in collaborating closely with therapists, family members, and other physicians as part of a unified care team. Reaching out for help is the first step toward healing—and often the hardest. I understand how intimidating it can feel to place your care in someone else’s hands, and my goal is to work alongside you in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and comfortable.
