FAQs
1. What is your approach to working with patients?
I provide both psychotherapy and medication management. I take a comprehensive approach to treatment that considers biological, psychological, and lifestyle factors that influence mental health. I believe that effective treatment begins with listening carefully and understanding each person’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals. No two people are the same, and treatment should reflect that. I also believe that education is an important part of care. I work to help patients understand their mental health disorders and why certain treatments may help, so they can make informed decisions and feel more in control of their health. I strive to create a respectful, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where patients feel heard, informed, and actively involved in their care. Whether we are fine-tuning a medication regimen or exploring new therapeutic avenues, my focus is on providing clear communication and precise care that respects your individual goals and values.
2. How do you integrate medication management?
I like to teach patients about how medications work, the potential benefits of medications, and the potential side effects of medications. I like to give patients options and then support whatever decision they make. My goal is to use the minimum amount of medication necessary to help patients feel better and function well in their daily lives.
3. What types of concerns do you specialize in treating?
Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety disorders including OCD, ADHD
