Dr. Shivangi Maniar is a California native and board-eligible psychiatrist dedicated to helping individuals navigate their unique paths to mental health. Born and raised in San Diego, Dr. Maniar earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC San Diego and went on to obtain her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, where she gained extensive experience working with patients of all ages and from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Maniar’s expertise spans a range of mental health areas, including women’s mental health, substance abuse, life transitions, trauma, and working with foster and adoption communities, veterans, and minority populations. She is particularly committed to providing trauma-informed care, approaching each patient with empathy and respect for their individual experiences.
