Getting to know Mamdouh Hanna, M.D.  

Dr. Hanna is an adult psychiatrist located in Southern California. He is described by his patients to be a caring, passionate and genuine psychiatrist. He received his bachelor's with honors from the University of California, Irvine. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Missouri and completed his residency in Psychiatry at University of Loma Linda. His philosophy in treatment is to integrate all aspects of patients’ lives including but not limited to biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors. He utilizes supportive, cognitive behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology in his treatment plan. He strives to empower his patients to find their strengths to improve their overall condition. He has special interests in mood disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and ADHD. He has received numerous awards including the Southern California Psychiatric Society 2021 Excellence in Education Award.
