FAQs

1. What is your approach to working with patients?

I start by helping the patient understand their situation better from a psychiatric standpoint This can take a few appointments to complete, however each appt I make sure to also help the patient work toward their goals based on the problems that led them to seek treatment. We then work on a treatment plan that always includes psychotherapy.

2. How do you integrate medication management?

When a patient is taking a medication the management of it happens in the first part of the appointment after agenda setting. Then we follow with psychotherapy which includes goal setting.

I specialize in conditions that include symptoms of anxiety. Most often these are things like PTSD, all the anxiety disorders, and OCD.
