Getting to know Rhonda Williams, M.D.
Dr. Williams completed her medical training at Keck School of Medicine at USC and completed her post graduate Psychiatry training at UCLA-San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Program where she served as Chief Resident in her final year of training. She was the Lead Psychiatrist at the Women’s Clinic as well as a Staff Psychiatrist at the Sepulveda VA. Her clinical interests are Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Women’s Mental Health.
Dr. Williams believes in an integrated approach with her patients. This includes fostering healthy relationships, managing physical problems, nurturing a heathy active lifestyle and incorporating spiritual practices. She also has an interest in Christian counseling as an additional modality if such an interest is desired.
Dr. Williams is meticulously engaged with her patients and uses psychopharmacology as well as talk therapy to develop an individualized treatment plan. Ultimately, Dr. Williams utilizes an empathic, collaborative and mutually respectful approach to enable her patients to attain their treatment goals.
