FAQs

1. What is your approach to working with patients?

Create comfortable atmosphere that the patients feel comfortable to open up themselves.

2. How do you integrate medication management?

My approach to integrate medication management is through collaborative, open communication to actively involve the patients into decision making, so the patients fully aware of the goal taking the medication(s), how to take the medication(S), what to monitor and what need to be communicated with provider, to build the compliance to treatment and improve the recovery rate of acute episodes and maintain long term remission.

3. What types of concerns do you specialize in treating?

I specialize in evaluating and treating a broad range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma- and stress-related conditions, ADHD and other attention or executive-function difficulties, and women’s mental health needs such as perinatal and postpartum concerns. I also treat psychotic-spectrum disorders, insomnia, emotional dysregulation, and functional impairment related to mental health symptoms. My work includes medication management and integrating psychotherapy recommendations as part of comprehensive care.

4. What's something you want your patients to know about you?

I want my patients to know that my approach is collaborative, compassionate, and thoughtful. I understand that seeking care can feel vulnerable, and I aim to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and supported.

I take time to understand each person’s experience and tailor treatment to their needs. Most importantly, patients should know they are not alone—I am committed to supporting them through each step of their healing journey.

5. What do you believe is the most important part of the healing process?

I believe the most important part of the healing process is a trusting, collaborative relationship. When patients feel safe, understood, and respected, they can speak openly about their experiences, which allows us to work together more effectively. That foundation of trust helps guide meaningful treatment and supports lasting recovery.

6. What kinds of clients do you work with best?

I work best with clients who value a collaborative approach and are open to engaging thoughtfully in their treatment. This includes individuals experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, stress-related conditions, ADHD, and women’s mental health concerns. I also work well with clients who appreciate a clear, structured plan, are willing to explore both medication and non-medication options, and are motivated to make steady progress toward improving their overall functioning and emotional well-being.

7. Do you have experience with trauma or PTSD?

Yes. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and those diagnosed with PTSD. This includes supporting patients with trauma related to acute events, chronic stress, interpersonal trauma, and life transitions. My approach focuses on helping patients feel safe, understood, and supported while guiding them through evidence-based treatment strategies to reduce symptoms, improve daily functioning, and enhance overall well-being.

8. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy activities that help me recharge and stay balanced. I like reading and watching movies. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, biking or skiing, or simply appreciating nature, as it helps me relax and clear my mind.

I value creative new artistic projects, which provide a sense of accomplishment and personal expression. Additionally, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, sharing meaningful conversations, and supporting each other’s growth. These activities help me maintain perspective, nurture my well-being, and bring energy and empathy into my work with patients.
